The Confederate Battle Flag
Not every image depicts life growing together like these two trees. Some represent the ugliest crossroads of our past.
The
Confederate States of America was the attempt to create a foreign
country within US boarders based on the institution of slavery. The
Confederate Battle Flag symbolizes a foreign country's aggression
upon this soil. What other enemy is favored with such an honor? Such
logic requires zombie-like cognitive dissidence. How much longer will
the enemy's flag fly over US capitals?

Soft Green Tree
This was shot was taken in the darkness of night. A long exposure and a slight breeze softens the clouds, leaves, and grass while leaving sharp the man-made things.

Colorful Virga
This is a great example of why a great, colorful sunrise is so much more difficult to capture than a comparable sunset. Here, the light just slips under the clouds long enough to color the virga.
The color in a sunrise comes from the fickle prism-effect while the dependable doppler-effect is responsible for orange-red sunsets.
